like, think about. there are only two possibilities with this comment, both of them being based on whether or not they knew i was doing this for a stream.
if they DID know i was streaming then they’d be saying that i as an entertainer am not worth the money that people are giving me. the “art request” gimmick is not so much a person wanting an actual piece of art as it is someone wanting me to put on a silly performance in the form of showing the process. by using a sort of weird medium (dry erase board) to draw a silly picture of the persons choosing, im giving someone a live show tailored to what they want. i know that kinda sounds up-my-own-ass but thats just breaking it down to the bare minimum of what it could be.
if the person DIDNT know i was streaming then what they just said is “your art isnt as good as my art. people should pay ME instead of you because im better than you” which is arguably worse. its not like im TRYING to make the art bad. thats just like. my natural drawing ability, so when the person belittles it by saying “this level of art” they are saying in no uncertain terms “you are below me” which is a really insulting sentiment, regardless of its validity.
let me fire back at the people who are shitty for no reason, man, cmon. chill.
