she would rather hang out in our bed, which is her bed, and look out the window (it is a very popular window) (we have not painted the windowsill/trim yet so it’s not a great look right now, don’t judge)

she is also determined to steal 8ball’s food, even though he gets fed the same food as her, and there is plenty of food in her dish, and if you pick her up and set her in front of her dish she will resume eating her own food without complaint

Petri, named after petrichor, the name for the scent of rain. a close second was Nimbus, named after nimbostratus clouds in which rain forms. i was very tempted to go with Proteus, a greek shapeshifter who ruled the sea, but i realized that would be more fitting for a pokemon with a stronger attack stat. i researched these names endlessly and they took 2 hours to come up with.
