Today’s NYT article outlines the current US administration’s attempted removal of legal protections of the Civil Rights Act in healthcare, housing, work, education, etc from trans people–as the article puts it, defining trans folk “out of existence,” effectively ignoring the history, experiences, and dignity of approximately 1.4 million trans Americans.
Various posts and folks have already listed these resources as helpful ways for cis folks to contribute and donate in material ways, but I’ll link some that I have come across for my own reference and for anyone else’s as well

can’t wait until trans people are thrown into legal limbo en masse by the retroactive invalidation of all their identifying documents. can’t wait to find out whether trans people will be rendered personae non gratae with respect to state assistance programs because we can’t prove who we are. can’t wait to find out what that could mean for effective citizenship status.
weird how reactionaries will reject climate science out of hand, legally bar schools from giving students sex education, and try to write evolution out of biology curricula–but when it comes to imposing arbitrary restrictions to abortion access or rescinding civil rights protections from trans people they suddenly seem to have advanced degrees in bioscience!
