The Trump Administration is planning to change the legal definition of sex to- “male or female, unchangeable, Unless by genetic testing.” Aka, trans people would be completely erased. They would have no rights towards discrimination, changing their gender, or even presenting as trans in general. If you aren’t planning to vote or you’re on the fence, PLEASE, for the love of god, get out and vote. We have to protect our community.

It takes $0 to ask your friends and neighbors if they and their animals are safe and comfortable with you popping fireworks in the vicinity.
If they are not, and you do it anyways, you can cost them hundreds of dollars in veterinary bills and/or emergency room costs.
A brief google search or even a call to your local PD can clear up any questions about legal (and safe) places to celebrate our patriotism.

Hey, darlings, so here’s the deal:
Can we as a fandom swear to protect and respect Laura, Travis and specially their child’s privacy in the coming months/years.
I know we are all excited and proud of them, and given what they do in the show the pregnancy has been in the public eye quite a bit.
But this is a family with a right to do things however they see fit and we’re talking about a minor’s privacy, a tiny newborn baby who will need to be sheltered from the public eye and some intrusive fans, on top of everything else tiny children need to be safe from.
So like, we can all be happy, but can we all collectively promise to chill and let them be for a while? They’ll probably share as they see fit —as Matt perfectly put it yesterday— but we should all be respectful and give them space to enjoy this treasure of happiness they’ve just brought into the world however they want.
