How about… and hear me out… this may sound crazy…. but you… continue to call us bisexual… because (and I realize this gets confusing for you people so read this next part slowly) it turns out we continue to be bisexual regardless of who we’re dating.
Okay, this shit gets me all heated up. I’m just a cisgay dude up in here, but I have Some Opinions about this nonsense.
Bisexual people in relationships with folks of the other gender are not only themselves still bisexual (I’m really ashamed of a bunch of all that this shit even needs to be said, like c’mon), but their relationships are queer.
Yes, I just said that straight people can be involved in queer relationships without they themselves being queer.
The reason for this is simple: folks who are in relationships with queer people will always have to deal with their partner’s marginalization impacting their relationship. Always. Even if their bisexual partner chooses to be entirely stealth about their queerness (and that’s their right, by gods, fight me about it), their relationship is still impacted by that very choice existing. It’s a facet heterosexual relationships never have to negotiate.
Frankly, bisexual folks have to deal with active marginalization from multiple angles: heterocentrist and homocentrist. And in case I actually have to say this aloud? We should not be fucking marginalizing our own, y’all. That makes you a bad person, and you should feel bad.
To sum up: Bisexual folks are queer as hell. Straight folks can be in queer relationships without themselves ever being queer. And FFS please stop harassing bi- and pan-folks already, man. It’s 2018. Find hobbies that are not shitty.

Part of the fuckery of this is that a lot of TRON’s most iconic visual effects weren’t done using computers. Like, at all. They just look like that because they were filmed on a high-contrast film called Kodalith, with backlit hand-painted animation cels layerered in there so everyone looks all glowy.

We are Cat and Roy, a married couple living in an unconverted school bus in Colorado. Winter is coming and we aren’t prepared. We are also unemployed. We used to work for Labor Ready, but they’ve fallen off so hard we can’t get work from them any more. We’re currently looking for work, but it’s not easy going.
I (Cat) have chronic pain and depression, both of which I’ve only just begun receiving treatment for. As of right now I have a plethora of doctors appointments I’m struggling to keep, including physical therapy every week. I haven’t been able to work at a scheduled job in about two years, but I’m currently seeking employment, as is Roy.
I also do tarot readings online ( @psychic-cat ) and I make porn (Manyvids.com/ladythc), although the porn production has been difficult in the bus, especially now that it’s cold.
Last month we gave shelter to a homeless mother and child for about a week and that kind of set us back a bit (not that we would have had it any other way given their situation).
We had hoped to insulate the bus by now and have a better heating system. As of right now we have cardboard in some of the windows and a small propane heater that runs on small canisters ($4 = 6 hours of heat).
We’re also currently pretty low on food, although we could manage some sad-ass meals over the next day or two. We have a stove we can cook on, but it also takes propane canisters. One of those lasts about two days on the stove.
Until one of us finds a job and starts getting paid, we are going to have to rely on donations as our main source of income.
Task Rabbit took our application fees and never contacted us, despite us reaching out to them multiple times.
Amazon accepted both of our applications, but are telling us they can’t place us at any of their locations here (which seems really fishy to me…)
We haven’t heard anything from any of the other places we’ve applied, but we’re keeping at it.
I seem to be working up a cold, though, so I suspect I’m gonna be useless for the next few days.

Ok now that the thing with the van is (almost) over (tow yard is closed today), we can get back to just regular surviving. I have a job interview on Wednesday that I’m very optimistic about.
Winter has arrived in Colorado for real. We’ve had a couple light snow falls, but now it’s real. Besides finding work, our main priority right now is insulating the bus. If you’d like to aid in that endevour, the items on the wishlist would really help with that.
