for everyone who’s excited about obsidian dragging bethesda this isn’t just about how fucking trash garbage 76 is, this is about how obsidian was shafted by bethesda when fallout new vegas came out.
heres the thing, obsidian used to work on a weird kind of business model where they would make games on a budget for certain companies and if they met a certain review quota they would get a bonus.
new vegas missed the quota by 1 point.
1 point because bethesda didn’t give them enough money to make one of, if not the best game in the franchise, and rushed them continuously through production
this isn’t new drama
this is obsidian finally getting its vindication after bethesda robbed them and almost sent them into financial ruin
U know what’s also good. That whole ‘sunshine character steals the heart of raincloud’ but instead, raincloud is the one who pursues sunshine character like
There is a small and rather unsettling Easter Egg that can be found in the basement of Pokémon Mansion in Cinnabar in Let’s Go, Pikachu! and / or Eevee!, which relates to the backstory of the mansion and the legendary Pokémon elaborated on within.
You can find this piece of lore building only by approaching the large, unexplained machine pictured below, found in the mansion’s basement, with either Mew or Mewtwo as your active traveling companion outside its Poké Ball:
Mew and Mewtwo are the only two Pokémon in the game that will react in any way to this machine’s presence. Both will give a signal of surprise and approach the grim-looking machine, in turn prompting the player to speak to them for the accompanying bits of dialogue at the top. It’s a very small and easy to miss sliver of continuity but to me it speaks volumes about what must have happened in that mansion before it burned.
This is a heads-up to be careful on opening certain messages on Tumblr: Ace exclusionists are apparently sending out messages to trick aces/ace supporters into giving out their password. We’ve heard some people are getting a message with “did you see this” with a link to a tumblr called “the gay list”. When clicked, it looks like the tumblr log-in screen, but is used to steal your password. So please be careful and do not click!
I’ve been getting messages like this – thankyou for the warning!
If you do log in on that fake tumblr websites, it’ll use your account to send it to other people. So if an Ace person/supporters or a mutual sends you this it’s most likely because they got hacked.
