we need to encourage scientists to use the Mythbuster method

step 1 – you said this was the result you got, we’re going to try to replicate it using your methods

step 2 – if we didn’t get your result, we’re going to see what methods we have to use to get your result

step 3 – we blow shit up cause it’s cool

I mean, I know replication studies aren’t ‘sexy’ but keeping shit like this from happening is why we need them, right?
