OUR COMMUNE NEEDS HELP!!!

Don’t let the silly photo trick you! Our LGBT+
commune Majakka, or Lighthouse in English, is in concrete need for help pretty much immediately.
Because of abusive members of the community leaving and taking a large chunk of
money with them, we’re in a need to get that missing part of the rent from
somewhere. If we don’t succeed in making this money up by the start of next
month, we could be evicted two weeks into October.
This would lead to nearly ten vulnerable queer and trans teens and adults,
children, and mentally ill people becoming homeless.

We have tried
everything these last few months, individually going from getting a job, going
to school, and frantically looking for new tenants. But it looks like miracles
aren’t going to happen and we’ll be
missing at least 600€, which would be devastating as it would currently
give our landlord cause to evict us.

If you care
about LGBT+ and mentally ill people trying to survive together in communities,
please help us keep our home and our future! We all need this place in order to
continue living a life that’s worth living. There are no words for how grateful we are for every single cent that
any of you can share, and for every bit of attention people can give by
sharing this post.
