Pain is a fact of life.
For some of us, pain is constant, resulting from a medical condition that needs to be managed.
Pain can be physical (from fighting, from sickness) or it can be mental (from abuse, from fear, from bad memories, from separation from those we love).
All of us seek relief from pain.
We fighters learn to manage pain. As fighters, we suffer injuries which can be very painful.
We patiently suffer knowing that the pain will not last, the price we pay for training and fighting.
For many of us, the pain lasts a lifetime, due to some medical condition.
We did not suffer the pain due to fighting, rather we fight the pain itself.
Pain becomes our opponent.
We must fight and master the pain.
We seek meaning from the pain.
We try to master the pain, to help make us stronger. Otherwise the pain will weaken us.
Pain makes us all fighters!
Train and fight!
Always seek Manliness!

as someone who’s been in near-constant pain due to medical stuff for the past like three years this really resonates with me
well except for the manliness part being a trans woman lol 😛
I’m so glad to hear that!
I thought that it’s important to recognize that pain is an opponent.
As fighters, all of us fight pain.
We must fight and conquer pain.

Thankyou for saying it so well. We fight every day, all day, some of us, and so many fail to realise.
Yes, I’m slowly beginning to understand just how many of my readers fight constant pain.
This message was written especially for them.
