We might disagree on this and that’s ok.. But i really hope this ban on abortion after 20 weeks gets passed. Why? Because that baby is no longer just “cells and tissue” as so many say. The baby can now move around, yawn, and feel pain. He/she is very much alive!! I was born around this same time (4 ½ months premature) and I’ll be damned if you try and tell me or my parents that I wasn’t alive and deserved to live. I did deserve to live and so does every child.
99% of abortion take place before 20 weeks. Literally. Abortions that take place after that point are for the health of the pregnant person, or because the pregnancy is unviable or the foetus is otherwise deformed.
You really want to stop people from being unable to abort a pregnancy that could kill them?

Also gonna need proof that you were born at 20 weeks as you claim, considering the youngest any preemie was born at and able to survive was 21 weeks, 5 days and there is exactly one case of that happening.
Prior to him, the youngest was 24 weeks.
Also no, at 20 weeks a fetus cannot feel pain. The current science has proven that pain is not something that can be felt until the third trimester (27 weeks or later) and believed to develop the capacity for pain around 30 weeks.
