There’s always someone who comes into my inbox and says “I saw your essential oil post and actually–” then straight up just says the wrong thing.

Like I am so sorry high school science failed you, but no, water does not dilute oil. It’s physically impossible. The “purity” of the oil has nothing to do with it. This isn’t magic. The water doesn’t care if the oil was distilled by nuns on the full moon. It’s science. Basic science. Oil floats on water.

And I’m afraid you have to abide by that law as much as the rest of us.
