Surrounding yourselves with other lesbians, even if it’s just online, is one of the best things you can do for yourself. I get that’s it’s hard and can be anxiety inducing, but creating and building upon those friendships can be so rewarding. It’s hard and lonely being gay, help yourself and start making baby steps to build your confidence. The relief you will feel that you have people you can talk to who will understand you will be palpable and invigorating.
