This makes me MAD

A tiny town with a smaller population than some high schools has contaminated water, so Michigan declares a state of emergency, supplies residents with bottled water, and is dumping all the contaminated water in preparation of hooking the town up with a clean water supply.

MEANWHILE nobody gives two shits about Flint, a MAJOR CITY with OVER A HUNDRED THOUSAND RESIDENTS.

Spot the difference!

I expect that organising and supplying bottled water for a population 1/50 the size of Flint, dumping their old water and accommodating supplying enough new water for them is logistically a lot simpler just due to scales involved. The water supply for Kalamazoo or whatever (pop: 74,000 or summat) can easily stretch to supply the extra 2,000 from Parchment.

But lets be honest here, that’s not the reason, is it?

Also like the suffering of a 100000 people isn’t enough to declare a State emergency? lmao
