For so many years, this was my life. I hope this behavior dies with the Boomer generation.

Oh and to everybody in the notes saying they’d be upset if their children refused to pass on their genetic lineage: Die mad about it. 

right, because its so damn unfair for your parents to want to be grandparents…

They can want to be grandparents all they want. They don’t have a right to badger their children about it.

Their children will live their own lives, not the lives their parents want. If the parents want grandchildren so bad, they can find other children (friends, neighbors, fostering, mentoring) to nurture and play with.
