no heterosexual could pull off that level of drama
ok i finished it heres my official cbc review even though i only caught the second half of it:
i like the movie but like literally every single trope that could possibly be in a kid teen movie is in this movie
the best parts about the movie were disaster gay icon warren peace and the emo girl whose power is transforming into a guinea pig but the guinea pig is also emo. she has purple streaks in her hair and her fur in guinea pig form does too. which i can only assume means she at some point either managed to dye her own fur or got someone else to do it. thats commitment and as an emo i applaud it
the ending totally sucked simply because it was ruined by the part where after it was all over and they went back to dancing (since the big shit went down at the homecoming dance) literally out of fucking nowhere this chick shows up next to warren and holds her hand out and she has ice powers and he takes her hand w his fire powers and it melts and then they go off presumably to dance together which is such bullshit because 1. who the fuck is this girl this is her first appearance in the movie and 2. at every other time warren was visibly and vocally uncomfortable with a girl being affectionate with him but now hes HOLDING HANDS with blondie mcrando? the straight agenda never sleeps smh
she’s his lesbian best friend and they went to the dance together to have fun, clearly
